About us

Built to stay current, by people who build AI.

The AI+ Library is the publishing and research arm of an AI engineering consortium — not a traditional publisher. Every title is authored by practitioners, kept current as the field moves, and reviewed by an academic board of scientists and industry leaders across AI, applied science, and policy.

The publisher

Written by the engineers who build the systems.

Headquartered in Singapore, the Straits Institute for Applied AI is the research, publishing, and education body of Straits AI Group — an AI engineering consortium that consults on and builds AI deployment systems and infrastructure for governments, think tanks, educational institutions and enterprises across more than fifteen countries. Every AI+ title is written by practitioners who build the systems the books teach.

How we work
The refresh cycle

Kept current as the field moves.

Most AI training is shipped once and walks away. Six months later the tool it taught is deprecated; a year later half the examples are wrong. Every book in the AI+ library is reviewed and refreshed every six months. When the field moves — a new model class, a regulatory shift, a framework that supersedes the last one — the books move with it. You train from a shelf that’s current, not from a snapshot of last year.

Engineering authority

Written by practising AI engineers.

Every AI+ title is authored by practitioners at Straits AI Group — the AI engineering consortium that builds production AI systems and infrastructure for governments and enterprises worldwide. We ship the systems first, then write about what we learned doing it. When the field’s lead practitioners write the books, the books carry weight.

The Academic Board

The Board draws on scientists and industry leaders across AI, applied science, and policy — bringing that experience to bear on what the Institute publishes and teaches.
